The early disciples sold their possessions and gave as anyone had need. When the first apostles preached the gospel, either thousands were saved or riots broke out. The early church's response to the broken and hurting world was, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." It is our hope that an honest look into the book of Acts will utterly convict us and lead us into a lifestyle of authentic Christianity, that we might become a people that will again "turn the world upside down." The life of David, the son of Jesse, is a fascinating journey of hope and struggle, pain and promotion, despair and victory. We gain significant insight into the character of God through understanding David’s perspective of God in the place of strength as well as weakness. We will contrast seasons of David’s life with the psalms that he authored during those specific times. The study of the life of David is a study of the kindness and goodness of God toward weak people whom He so deeply desires. Bride of ChristInstructor(s) Jennifer McIntyre

Ephesians 5 discusses the mystery of the joining of a man and woman as a symbol that points to a greater reality: the eternal union of Christ and His Church. This mystery is revealed throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. This class will discuss the Bridal Paradigm of the kingdom, the major symbols of the Bride throughout the Bible as well as the Bride at the end of the age. Sermon on the MountInstructor(s) Jamie Burns
When Wednesdays @ 6:00pm-8:00pm
Where Multipurpose Room
Matthew 5-7 has come to be known as the Sermon on the Mount. In this sermon, Jesus establishes the culture of His Kingdom and identifies the characteristics of "normal Christianity." He defines the core realities that all those who desire to be citizens of His Kingdom must embrace in this life. Though the Sermon on the Mount is one of the most popular teachings of Jesus, few take the time to study it out and fewer still obey it. In this class, we will thoroughly investigate Jesus' teachings regarding the value system of His Kingdom as established in the Sermon on the Mount and their application to our daily lives. We will explore the values of giving, fasting, prayer, servanthood, forgiveness, meekness and resisting the spirit of this age. Feasts of IsraelInstructor(s) Chad Swift

The Biblical Feasts as given to Moses are invitations to intimacy, signs of the seasons, and prophetic markers of the first and second coming of Yeshua, the Messiah. We will study the Biblical passages concerning the feasts and look at Jewish tradition in the celebration of the feasts. We will also discuss how we can celebrate the feasts in communion with the Holy Spirit to the honor and glory of God. And finally, we will examine the prophetic purpose and message of the feasts. In the place of fasting, let us not forget that the Lord called feasts as well; and in the place of prayer, let us remember to give thanks and rejoice in the abundance of the Lord our God. In The Ministry of Healing, we will explore several Biblical themes concerning the ministry of healing and its practical function in the life of every believer. Jesus taught very plainly that healing was a sign that would accompany those who believe and proclaim the gospel. Therefore, we must begin to understand how to operate effectively and Biblically in this ministry so that we can partner with the Holy Spirit in faith and boldness. Each class will include both teaching and clinic time. Some of the topics covered will include: The Healing Ministry of Jesus, Healing and the Holy Spirit, Angelic Agency in Healing, and Healing Ministry in an End Times Context. |
