The Longing

A Collection of Original Songs from IHOP-Atlanta

This album is an attempt to convey the heart and sound of the worship leaders of IHOP Atlanta. All of these worship leaders are full-time intercessory missionaries at the House of Prayer, where they are committed to spending at least 40 hours per week in prayer, fasting and worship before the Lord. Our prayer is that these songs will convey to you the ache that heaven has authored in us and that you too will experience this LONGING to know Jesus, the beautiful Man and Son of God, intimately.

A Prelude to Tomorrow

Joel Bidderman

Joel Bidderman’s “A Prelude to Tomorrow“ (2007) is a refreshing, engaging musical tapestry which weaves together the simplicity of acoustic instruments with poetic lyrics. The concept of the album showcases songs written primarily at night, but are also inspired by the truth that every day and prayer draws us closer to the return of Jesus Christ. The songs are grounded in intimacy with Christ and a longing to know Him more. The recording was done completely “organically”, meaning, it was done without pickup electronics (unplugged). All of the music from guitar, to vocals, bass, percussion, etc, were all recorded through microphones. The songwriting also digs down to the folk artist’s musical roots of jazz and blues, while it contemplates the reality and mystery of a human heart’s relationship with its Creator.

GSM: The Book of Isiaah
1/12/2009 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Isaiah was not only a prophetic voice to his generation, but also a powerful messianic and eschatological theologian. He is the most frequently quoted prophetic voice in the Scriptures. In this course, we will explore the vast amount of detail and prophetic insight concerning the nature of prophecy, justice to the poor, Messiah as the Suffering Servant, the End of the Age, the Harlot Babylon, the Antichrist, the Day of the Lord, Israel's example to the nations, and the Millennial Kingdom. Week after week, we will unravel the mysteries of Isaiah’s prophecies through considering their historical context as well as the future implications of the many prophecies yet to be fulfilled.
