Passionate PursuitThe Passionate Pursuit Conference is a solemn assembly held for three days each spring, with night and day worship and intercession as the core of this gathering. This conference is geared toward calling people to a deep desire for intimacy with God. The goal of this time of seeking God together is that we would emerge from these days with a greater desire for intimacy with God and a greater sense of urgency for the hour in which we live. Whether serving the Lord in the ministry or the marketplace, we are all called to fast and pray and seek His face unto expressing the fullness of His power upon the planet. Ephesians 3:19 tells us that there is a day coming when the people of God will walk in the “fullness of God.” What will it look like when God’s people walk in the very fullness of the manifestation of His power in the earth? The stunning reality is that the fullness of God only flows through the heart that is deeply rooted and grounded in the knowledge of His passionate, burning love. Intimacy with God is the door to the manifestation of the supernatural. He is drawing an entire generation into longing and desire unto manifesting His power through them in fullness. CalendarEncounter Service8/31/2008 10:00am - 1:00pmThe IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Immediately following the service, there is an Information meeting for anyone desiring more information regarding IHOP Atlanta. Global Bridegroom Fast9/1/2008 to 9/3/2008The Global Bridegroom Fast is a monthly, solemn assembly of believers all over the globe in unified holy abandonment to Jesus for three days. We are calling believers worldwide to join together in unified prayer and fasting for revival motivated by experiencing love for Jesus. This is not simply an event, but a new lifestyle in the grace of God. Anyone in any place can participate in the Global Bridegroom Fast. At IHOP Atlanta, we set aside these three days as corporate fasting days for anyone who wants to participate.
Staff Intercession Meeting9/2/2008 4:00pm - 6:00pmTuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting. Prophecy Rooms9/7/2008 3:00pm - 4:40pmIHOP Atlanta has prophecy teams, which are trained to hear the heart of the Lord for people and to minister His words of encouragement, edification, and exhortation (1 Cor 14:3).
The prophecy rooms are currently open on the first Sunday of every month from 3:00 to 4:40pm by appointment only. Ministry sessions last approximately 20 minutes.
